The SHANKLIN Model S-23C L-Frame Sealer is a high production semi-automatic wrapping machine. Features of ihe machine include an air-magnetic latch to provide sealing pressure, a solid-state controlled heat sealing cycle, and an automatic belt conveyor for removing the package afior the seal is complete. In addition, a push button sealing arm operator and a pneumatic hole punch are included.
Higher production speeds are achieved with the Model S-23C because it includes two unique features normally found only on our fully automatic L-Sealers. namely, the power film unwind and the film inverting head. The power film unwind permits a free feeding of the film, thus increasing operator efficiency. In addition, better seals (fewer rewraps) are obtained because the film in the seal area is always loose.
The film inverting head holds the film open, permitting the operator to insert the package with a simple right to left motion. In fact, the machine can be set in a production line so that product is conveyed straight onto the packing table from the right hand side of ihe machine. Thus the product tlow from the production line through the sealer and shrink tunnel is in a straight line.
