Opti® NXG incorporates Sealed Air Corporation’s patented micro-layer technology into an “All-Purpose” series of shrink materials. This revolutionary shrink film technology provides the versatility to wrap the broadest array of applications in the market, everything from small to large packages, on the widest array of equipment. STRONG AND EASY-TO-USE
Available in 30, 42, 55, 70 and 90 gauge, Opti® NXG film is easy-to-use and adapts to almost all shrink equipment in the market, often with little to no change in machine settings. The film has exceptional optics, retail shelf appeal and performs as well or better than materials often twice the thickness. The strength of the film maintains that retail appearance through the entire logistics cycle from manufacturing through the ultimate consumer purchase.
Sealed Air’s patented micro-layering technology provides significant source reduction without compromising performance. Longer rolls translate to the additional environmental benefit of reduced cores, cartons, pallets, warehouse, transactions and logistics which further converts to real costs on the customer’s bottom line. Thinner films also typically require less heat in the shrink process, translating to lower electricity consumption, reduced carbon footprint and further reduced costs.
Opti® NXG film meets the requirements for SPI recycle code “4” and can be introduced into the LDPE recycle stream. This material is highly desirable by downstream recycling converters and readily used in blown film and injection molding operations.
